Your My Content page is your personal workspace. It displays every time you log into your account. You can also access it whenever you are logged into your account by clicking the My Content link on the top left.
The diagram below points out the different fields in My Content and the various actions you can perform.
1–Use this area to organize your items into folders. Be aware that if you delete a folder, any items in the folder are also deleted.
2–Add Item: This is where you upload and reference (link) items to ArcGIS Online. By default, your items are private meaning only you can find and use them.
3–Create Web Map: Access the Web Map Viewer to create Web maps that you can save and share like other items.
4–Click Title to change the order of items in a list.
5–Click an item title to open its properties page.
The following buttons become active when you select one of more of your items.
6–Share: Use the checkboxes to select items you want to share. The dropdown arrow lets you choose the groups (or everyone) for sharing. This button also appears on each item properties page.
7–Delete: Use the checkboxes to select items you want to delete.
8–Move To: Use the checkboxes to select items you want to move into a different folder. The dropdown arrow lets you choose the folder.
