Inviting people to join a group
You can invite people to join your group:
- Open your My Groups page (you need to be signed in), and click the name of the group you want to invite people to join.
- Click Invite Users.

The Invite Users window displays.
- Search for users to invite to join your group. You can search for users by first name, last name, full name, organization, or a
combination. For example, Mike, Jones, Mike Jones, ESRI, Mike ESRI, Jones ESRI, or Mike Jones ESRI.
Mouse over a name in the Users list for details on the user. NOTE: You cannot invite users who have set their profiles to private.

- Click a name in the Users list to add the name to the Invitation List. To remove a name from the Invitation list, click the name.
- When the list is complete, click Send Invitation to invite the users to join your group.
Users will receive a notification on their account page to join your group. They can view the invitation on their My Groups page and accept or reject it. If they accept the invitation, they will automatically be added to your group.
